    TOUR DETAILS
     
    Day 01 Arrival and transfer.
    Arrival in Istanbul Ataturk airport. Met on arrival  and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

    Day 02  Istanbul - Byzantine & Ottoman Relics (Breakfast/Lunch)
     Departure from your hotel.
    Tour of "Sultan Ahmet Center", the heart of the "Old City" from where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires were ruled.
    Hagia Sophia, the Church of the Divine Wisdom, one of the greatest marvels of architecture, constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian.
    Blue Mosque, facing Hagia Sophia, famous with its blue İznik tiles and unique with 6 minarets, built in the name of Sultan Ahmet.
    Hippodrome, center of sportive events (chariot races, athletics) and political activities of the old city. Serpentine Column, Obelisk of Theodosius and German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating the Hippodrome.
    Grand Covered Bazaar, most attractive shopping center and the biggest "souk" in the world with nearly 4000 shops selling antiques, jewellery, gold, carpets, leatherware and souvenir. (Art demonstration of handmade Turkish carpets upon request)
    Lunch at a Turkish Restaurant. Topkapı Palace, residence of Ottoman Sultans exhibiting imperial treasury, sacred Islamic relics of Prophet Mohammed, kitchen, Chinese porcelain, weapons, calligraphy section etc. Live guide commentary is not allowed in special sections. (Harem is not included in the program) Sultan Tombs, there are five tombs of Ottoman Sultans within the graveyard at Hagia sophia. The ceramic panels are the most beautiful examples of the 16th century with purple, red, green and blue flower motives. Prince robes and a small piece from the Kaaba covers are displayed on the sarcophaguses.
    *Note that on Sunday the Grand Bazaar is closed, on Monday the Turkish and Islamic Art Museum and St Sophia are closed and on Tuesday the Topkapi Palace is closed. 
     
    Transfer- After the tour we transfer you to Airport to fly İzmir.
    Flight To İzmir: Flight hours mostly around 19:00 to 23:00. It takes only one hour.
    Arrival and Transer: When you arriva at izmir airport you will be transfer to Kusadasi or Selcuk for hotel. Stay overnight.
     
    Day 03 Ephesus-House of Virgin Mary-Istanbul (Breakfast/Lunch)
    Today we are visiting Ephesus, which was one of the largest and most interesting ancient cities of Asia Minor. It is considered to be the most fantastic Greco-Roman site in Turkey. You may imagine the Ephesians shouting at the silversmith Demetrius, " Great is Artemis of the Ephesians" in reaction to the preaching of St. Paul against man-made idols. A visit to the house where The Virgin Mary spent her last days, and the the Temple of Artemis, which was one of the Seven Wonders of the World. 
    Transfer- After the tour we transfer you to Airport to fly Istabul.

    Flight To Istanbul: Flight hours mostly around 19:00 to 23:00. It takes only one hour.
    Arrival and Transer: When you arriva at Istabul airport you will be transfer to your hotel. Stay overnight in Istanbul.
     
    Day 04  Your Last Day (Breakfast)
    According to your international flight time we will transfer you to the Airport. Do not forget to inform us your flight details.

    Transportation Method: Modern clean cars. According to your group size it can be a car, or a van. We like to organize small size group tours. This big groups like more than 30 people we organize more than one guides and more buses. 
    Ideal size for us is 1 to 16 people.
    Dates and Times: All around the year
    Meet up location: Your hotel or Union Station (or other convenient location). Will be waiting you with board written your name on it at the time of arrangement or meet at the hotel lobby.
    End location: Depending on the tour, your hotel or near one of the downtown Metro stops or taxi stands -- convenient for relaxing with dinner or drinks before going back to the hotel.
    Duration: 4 Days - 3 Nights
    Attention Please: According to museums crowd, day tours might take around 1 hour more or less. 
    Accommodation Information : The price of the tour included at least three star hotel standards. Some of our hotels are boutique hotels which is specially chosen for you to make your travel enjoyable and make you observe and feel the culture better. Here is some examples we choose for you; Cave hotels in Cappadocia, Tree Houses in Olypos, Village Houses in Safranbolu. 

    Tour of "Sultan Ahmet Center", the heart of the "Old City" from where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires were ruled.

    Hagia Sophia (Aya Sofya) is a UNESCO-listed museum that contains Ottoman and Byzantine works. Listen the history and examine the architecture displays with your professional guide. Next stop is Topkapi Palace , the largest and oldest palace in the world to survive to our day and also was the primary residence of the Ottoman sultans for approximately 400 years.
     Then, make a visit to the Blue Mosque with six minarets, was built at the bequest of Sultan Ahmet I and one of the best preserved and most significant examples of Ottoman architecture.
     Continue to Istanbul Hippodrome where chariot races were held and also the centre of Byzantium's life for 1000 years and of Ottoman life for another 400 years and has been the scene of countless political dramas.
     Stop by Caferaga Medresesi, of foundation for serving Turkish Culture, also organises various workshop about handicrafts and music.
     Then give a little break for lunch in a local restaurant, then travel by coach to Topkapi Palace. It is the largest  palace in Istanbul and also it was primary residence of the Ottoman sultans for approximately 400 years.

     The next stop is the Grand Bazaar, one of the most famous bazaar around the world. Discover the bazaar with your guide and make some shopping. It is full with jewelery, leather and spices shops.
    Your tour finishes with a drop-off at your European-side hotel or in central Istanbul.
