ATMs
ATMs (Automated Teller Machines) advertising international bank settlement systems such as GlobalAccess, Cirrus, Maestro Plus and others are common in TUrkey. ATMs that take international cards you can use Visa, MasterCard, Cirrus, Maestro, Plus and American Express (AmEx) to withdraw cash.

Credit Cards
Major credit cards such as MasterCard, Visa, Diners Card, American Express and JCB can be used in large shopping malls and stores, to pay for hotel rooms and for meals in some restaurants.

Be aware of counterfeit money, especially when you take a taxi or buy things from street vendors.
